GSM 402B Project Management
Whether you work in business, health care, government, education, or any other sector, being able to successfully lead and manage project teams is a critical skill. This elective uses lectures, discussions, exercises, scenarios, and a simulation to provide an overview of concepts, tools, and techniques for planning, directing, and controlling projects. Students will learn how to analyze the technical, budget, and time requirements of projects; negotiate for resources and manage workloads; deal with conflict on project teams; and derive lessons learned from completed projects.
