AI 531 Use-Inspired Generative AI Applications

This course focuses on the many use cases of generative AI across multiple domains. It first covers the way that AI can be used for content creation including text, images, music, audio, and video, including unethical usage such as in deepfakes. It next examines the way that these content generation tools can be used in multiple domains including education, healthcare, business, agriculture, entertainment, science, and everyday life. The students examine the range of existing generative AI tools and critically evaluate the datasets used to train and enable the performance of the tools. Trustworthiness including bias, explainability, accessibility, privacy, and ethics are all explored. Prerequisite or Corequisite: AI 511 with a minimum grade of B- (3)
