PSRT 4121 CASE MANAGEMENT APPROACHES
Case management is an essential component of psychiatric rehabilitation practices both in the generic sense (i.e. managing the service needs of a caseload of consumers), and in terms of specific case management models. This course will review the essential functions of a case manager and explore how these functions are carried out within a variety of models. Particular emphasis will be placed on the PACT model. Research in psychiatric rehabilitation case management, as well as key interpersonal, documentation, and resource acquisition skills will be covered. Formerly: PSRT 3121.
