MGS 3031 EMPLOYMENT LAW

This course povides students with an overview of employment-related issues. Legal regulations will be examined related to the relationship between employers and employees, and their rights and obligations during recruitment, hiring, employment, and termination. Laws will be studied regarding the hiring and firing process, the Fair Labor Standard Act, workers" compensation, unemployment insurance, laws on employment discrimination and employment benefits, workplace health and safety regulation, and related topics.
