PA 5820 STRATEGIC PLANNING IN HEALTH AND NON-PROFIT MANAGEMENT

This course provides an overview of all planning tasks conducted by health care and non-profit managers. Strategic, operational, financial, and capital facilities planning are each discussed. Preparation of planning documentsand the creationof planning schedules is discussed. The importance of databased planning, guided by SWOT analysis, is emphasized. Pertinent state and federal laws and regulations governing health planning activities are explained. Revised 4/16/13.
