Medicinal chemistry focuses on how new medications are created and tested. The course will also provide an overwiew of the drug development proces from research bench to patient ingestion. This wil include the investigation of small molecule interaction with relevant biological targets efficacy, absorption, metabolism, toxicity pharmacokinetics, methos of testing and patenting.
