PSYD 8000 DOC DISSERTATION I: PROJ INIT

This course will focus on developing a dissertation idea; conducting a preliminary literature search and developing advanced strategies for statistical analyses. Graded on a credit granted (CG) or credit not granted (NC) basis. The dissertation is inteded to help students develop the skills necessary to become informed consumers of the psychological literature and apply these skills in the production of an original and independent scholarly product. The Dissertation also provides students the opportunity of further enhance their critical thinking and provides an opportunity to deepen knowledge and thought about a particular clinical area of interest.
