A course designed to teach students the operation and quality control maintenance of film-screen, computed and digital radiography systems. Fluoroscopy, tomography, mobile imaging systems and calibration tools will be included.
IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Show mastery of x-ray equipment design and function, with an emphasis on digital x-ray systems including indirect digital image receptors, direct digital image receptors, computed radiography image receptors and readers, CCD technology, and CMOS technology.
