RADT 180C Clinical Education 1*

A course providing students in their third semester of radiography education the opportunity practice and achieve competence in radiographic examinations of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower limbs, humerus and shoulder girdle, femur and pelvic girdle, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spines, sacrum and coccyx, and sternum and ribs. Use of the C-Arm Fluoroscope in surgery will be included.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the basic skills of a radiographer through educational opportunities to perform chest, abdomen, upper limb, humerus and shoulder girdle, lower limb, femur and pelvic girdle, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines, and the bony thorax exams on patients in a hospital or clinic setting.
