Students will become proficient in keeping time tickets, work orders, and other records. Students will improve their skills in working with others--customers, fellow workers, and employers.
IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- properly diagnose and repair HVAC, engine & fuel, steering & suspension, electrical & electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems as well as preventative maintenance in Ag and construction equipment
- meet or exceed the overall average score in the NOCTI evaluation for HVAC, engine & fuel, steering & suspension, electrical & electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems as well as preventative maintenance
- meet NATEF standards in HVAC, engine & fuel, steering & suspension, electrical & electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems
- improve scores from pre-test (in semester one) to post-test (in semester 3) in all areas: HVAC, engine & fuel, steering & suspension, electrical & electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems as well as preventative maintenance
