ASEP 100 Automotive Technology Fund & Safety

This course is an introduction to automotive service technology that will include instruction on vehicle sub-systems, terminology, navigating service information, tool description and usage, shop safety and pollution prevention. An introduction to all ASE areas of automotive study will be covered in order to give students a base knowledge that will be built upon by the automotive courses within the program. Course is repeatable for tech-prep students.

III. Catalog Course Description

This course is an introduction to automotive service technology that will include instruction on vehicle sub-systems, terminology, navigating service information, tool description and usage, shop safety and pollution prevention. An introduction to all ASE areas of automotive study will be covered in order to give students a base knowledge that will be built upon by the automotive courses within the program. Course is repeatable for tech-prep students.
