The Agriculture Department provides students with a great beginning to a challenging career. The Associate of Arts degree is for academic students who attend CSI for the first two years and plan to continue at a four-year college/university to complete a Bachelor’s degree program later.

Upon successful completion of the Agriculture program, a student will be able to:
- Demonstrate a practical knowledge and understanding of production agriculture and supporting industries, and identify challenges impacting agricultural producers and agribusinesses.
- Identify and apply basic economic and marketing principles and strategies used in farm and agribusiness applications.
- Discuss agricultural, biological, and technical systems and their relationship to agribusiness decision-making.
