The Agriculture Department provides students with a great beginning to a challenging career. The Associate of Arts degree is for academic students who attend CSI for the first two years and plan to continue at a four-year college/university to complete a Bachelor’s degree program later.

Upon successful completion of the Agriculture program, a student will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate a practical knowledge and understanding of production agriculture and supporting industries, and identify challenges impacting agricultural producers and agribusinesses.
  2. Identify and apply basic economic and marketing principles and strategies used in farm and agribusiness applications.
  3. Discuss agricultural, biological, and technical systems and their relationship to agribusiness decision-making.
