The Agribusiness Program provides students with a great beginning to a rewarding career. Students in the AAS program can enter into a well-paying job after two years.

Upon successful completion of the Agribusiness program, a student will be able to: 

  1. Identify and apply at a basic level, economic and marketing principles and strategies used in farm and agribusiness applications.
  2. Research, evaluate, and interpret economic news and trends; and using economic theory, apply to agricultural business.
  3. Demonstrate a practical understanding of production agriculture and challenges impacting agricultural producers and agribusinesses.
  4. Use mathematical calculations in the analysis and decision-making process used in agribusiness management.
  5. Discuss agricultural, biological, and technical systems and their relationship to agribusiness decision-making.
  6. Explain economic drivers in the agricultural value chain including market drivers, cost drivers, government drivers, competitive drivers, and others.
