Cabinetmaking/Woodworking
The Cabinetmaking/Woodworking program is designed to develop the student’s mental and physical skills required in the woodworking industry. This involves using all aspects of modern woodworking facilities. The student will become well skilled in the use of the machinery as well as being informed about the safety of every machine. The student will be trained to become employable as a cabinetmaker, wood window maker, installer, woodworker machine operator, assembler, finish carpenter, and furniture maker. This is a limited enrollment program.

Upon successful completion of the Cabinetmaking program, a student will be able to:
- Students become more Knowledgeable and skilled in the woodworking profession
- Students will gain more self-awareness of the woodworking and construction industry and the skills that are needed to manage their time on projects
- Identify and explain the different elements of cabinetmaking and furniture building.
- Students will learn how to become hirable employees that can compete for competitive salaries.
- Students will become faster and more efficient with large scale projects and maintain professional quality in the industry.
- Ability to operate a diverse selection of woodworking hand tools, power tools and computerized routing programs.
Program Admission Requirements
Take CSI Placement Exam.
Take CSI Placement Exam scores to program adviser for interpretation, personal interview and program acceptance.
Pay first semester’s tuition and fees to secure a slot.
