BIOL-2317 Salmon and Society
(SCIENCE & SOCIETY, SCIENTIFIC REASONING - NO LAB) Salmon and Society explores the biology, cultural significance, politics, and conservation of salmon and steelhead in the Columbia River drainage. Through a combination of readings, classroom discussions, and meetings with invited experts, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the salmon and steelhead crisis. One extended 3-4 day field trip required.
