ARTD-1100 Creative Foundations in the Visual Arts
(CREATIVE EXPRESSION) This introductory studio course immerses students in various areas of visual arts, focusing on enriching visual literacy. Mediums explored may include, but are not limited to, 2D, 3D, and 4D techniques. Students will develop the ability to generate original solutions to creative challenges, enhancing their problem-solving skills in artistic contexts. Projects will be contextualized within a framework that integrates historical and contemporary examples, allowing students to connect their work with influential movements and current artistic practices. *Extra fees apply in most studio art courses.
