SIM R04 Leading in Communities
Rooted in the Simmons Leadership Philosophy and designed to be a combination of reflection, practice, and skill-building, this final reflection course in the Applied Leadership Certificate Program equips students with the essential leadership skills to create a positive impact on society through service, social justice, and sustainability. By focusing on these three critical capacities, students will develop a deeper understanding of how effective leadership can drive meaningful change in the world. By the end of this course, students will be empowered to link passion with purpose, actively working towards reducing inequity and promoting sustainability in all their endeavors. The course culminates in a Leadership Portfolio and Presentation of Learning, where students articulate their development across the certificate and their aspirations for leading meaningful change.
