ES 4973 INDEPENDENT RESEARCH IN EARTH SCIENCE III
A field, laboratory and/or policy investigation of a basic or applied environmental issue performed independently by the student under the supervision of a faculty research mentor. ES 4973 may be combined with ES 4971 to a total of four credits toward a SESS program's major elective requirement. Student needs to fill out the contract with the mentoring faculty and have it approved by the Dean.
