ES 4101 PHYSICAL CLIMATOLOGY
The identification, examination, description, and study of the experimental and predictive climate - particularly with regard to microclimatic behaviors, responses, and interactions among relevant environmental and life systems. Design and response to physical climate systems, including cost/loss and/or cost/benefit analysis are related to risk factors regionally and locally as well as principles of Sustainability Science. Methods include distributional and spatiotemporal analyses to depict, visualize, and predict cause and effect of interactive and competing systems in terms of hazards and planning. Reliability and various applications are made to unique situations for management of physical environments with life systems.
