NURS 5900 RESEARCH IN TRANSCULTURAL NURSING ADMINISTRATION I
Analysis of the research process including the identification of a problem and development of a design in an area of transcultural nursing administration. Examples of research problems in trans-cultural nursing administration would include: examining health care needs of culturally diverse patient populations, examining nursing strategies designed for culturally diverse populations such as the aged, ethnic minorities, and handicapped patient populations, examining leadership strategies and models of care effective in meeting the needs of both a diverse work group and a diverse client group, and an examination of barriers to health care for culturally specific groups.
