Program Description
This Post-Master’s Certificate Program with an emphasis on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism Spectrum Disorders is designed for those who which to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). At Kean, you will develop an evidenced-based approach to teaching students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Learn how to design, implement, and evaluate individualized teaching procedures through the use of empirically validated principles of Learning and ABA. The skills learned in our program will promote best practices and provided gradate students with the skills to improve the quality of life of their learners.
Admission Requirements
In addition to the University’s admissions requirements:
- Baccalaureate and master's degree in an acceptable field of study from a qualifying institution. Acceptable field of study are behavior analysis, education, or psychology. Degrees may also be accepted from degree programs in which the candidate completed a BACB verified course sequence. Applicants who are unsure of whether the field of study of their degree is acceptable may request a preliminary review.

- Furnish an appropriate scholarly writing sample
- Professional resume/CV
- Professional statement of interest
- Official TOEFL or IELTS score reports (International Students ONLY)
Program Requirements
Those who wish to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination must meet additional requirements to qualify. See www.bacb.com for certification requirements.
