PSYD 7421 ADULT PSYCHOPATHOLOGY

This course offers an exploration of the major diagnostic categories and specific psychological disorders affecting adults, with an emphasis on epidemiological factors, etiology, symptomotology, maintaining factors, pathological processes, and treatment. Additional attention will be given to differential diagnosis and comorbidities among disorders. Students will become proficient in the use of the latest version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). Required
