PSYD 7114 PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR IIB: ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN SCHOOL AND CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
This is the second part of a three-part, year-long, professional seminar designed to support the school externship and "positive impact" project, as well to study the various ethical codes, specialty guidelines and recommendations that apply to the practice of school psychology, clinical psychology, and the intersection between the two. The literature on ethics is critically examined and readings include a variety of original sources. Students will examine case material that features ethical conflicts and controversies, and students practice processes to resolve ethical dilemmas. Required
