STME 1000 CHEMICAL SYSTEMS I
The lecture will include a thorough discussion of the fundamental principles of chemistry including atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, chemical calculations, and thermodynamics gases. Mathematical relationships will be used to describe various properties of a chemical system. In the recitation session, strategies will be discussed to solve general and specific problems related to topics discussed in the lecture. The lab will also include advanced versions of classical experiments and an introduction to modern instrumentation. Type of Course: General Education Science Distribution. Required Course for NJCSTM programs
