ENV 3100 PRINCIPLES OF ENVIRONMENTAL SOIL SCIENCE
An introduction to the chemical, physical, and biological properties of soils; the origin, classification, and distribution of soils and their influence on people and food production; the management and conversation of soils; and the environmental impact of soil use. 3hours of lecture and 3hours of lab. Prerequisites: CHEM 1084, ENV 1000 and GE 2024. Major requirement for B.S. in Earth Science, Geo-science option and Environmental Biology B.S. options. Major elective for other options within the School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences.
