ARCH 1101 STUDIO I: URBANISM AND ARCHITECTURE

The relationship between buildings and their contexts are the foundation for establishing an architectural language of forms and spaces. Projects of varying lengths will utilize local urban conditions as a basis for research and design, and address the cultural conditions evident in their formation. Development of spatial conceptual skills and the ability to convey design ideas through representation at different scales as well as verbally are stressed.
