Communication Studies Academic Content Area

The academic content area in Communication Studies will prepare P-3 and/or K-6 Education majors to examine the various ways in which communication creates, defines, and influences the patterns and processes of human interaction as they are related to instructional contexts. Students will have the opportunity to take a variety of courses that will benefit them as instructors in and out of the classroom. Through a variety of courses, students will examine the communicative factors in the teaching-learning process that occur across all grade levels, instructional settings, and subject matter.
