NURP 106 Fundamentals*
This course introduces basic concepts, principles, and theories of nursing practice with an emphasis on the five components of the Nursing Process. Students are introduced to basic concepts of client safety, communication, critical thinking, ethical and legal considerations, cultural diversity and research as they apply to the nursing care of adult clients. Psychomotor nursing skills are taught in a supervised lab setting. This course includes both theory and lab components.
