DIET 113 Diesel Fuel Injection
This is a course in theory and service procedures, in which the students will test, repair, overhaul, and adjust fuel injectors with application of special equipment and tools mandatory to efficient fuel injection. Electronic control or EFI computer control systems for fuel injection pumps or injectors will also be covered.

III. Catalog Course Description
This is a course in theory and service procedures, in which the students will test, repair, overhaul, and adjust fuel injectors with application of special equipment and tools mandatory to efficient fuel injection. Electronic control or EFI computer control systems for fuel injection pumps or injectors will also be covered.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- through understanding the theory and service procedures of the course the students will be able to test, repair, overhaul, and adjust fuel injectors
- the students will be able to demonstrate this with application of special equipment and tools
- tools that are mandatory for this course are mandatory to display proper testing and overhaul of fuel injection
- students will also learn of the electronic control or EFI computer control systems for fuel pumps or injectors will also be covered
- students will be able to demonstrate proper usage of tools and follow all safety procedures and demonstrate shop cleanliness
- students will be required to test using proper tools and testing procedures as outlined in the service manual (could include electronic control systems)
- final inspections are required by instructor and the students for assessment of the fuel systems
- students will follow all NATEF task list as outlined in the students handbook
