POE-218 Regimes and Revolutions

Examines core concepts in political economy including the state, regime, state-society relations, development, democratization, political culture, revolution, and genocide. Adopting a case study approach, students compare various regime types and revolutions. Each student also selects a case country of their own for researched analysis.
