EDU 6382 Fda of Educa in Elar Classrm
Prerequisite: Completed UG degree, admission to TFA Post-Baccalaureate Certification Program, obtain a position as the teacher of record at a TEA accredited school, passing score on the appropriate TExES certifying content exam and concurrent enrollment in EDU-6370 or EDU-6380. This course is an overview of the foundations of education that undergirds the practice of teaching in the Science classroom. The framework for this course will be the 4-12 ELAR TEKS and the Teacher of Education Standards with a focus on the learning environment, planning, instruction, and processional practices. Teachers will be invited to think systematically about their own classroom practices.
