EDU 6370 Elementary Internship I
Prerequisite: Completed UG degree, admission to TFA Post-Baccalaureate Certification Program, obtain a position as the teacher of record at a TEA accredited school, passing score on the appropriate TExES certifying content exam. This course is designed to provide technical assistance to students serving as teacher of record in a local school district during their first semester in the classroom within the parameters of an intern certificate for grades EC-6. The successful completion of both internship courses (EDU-6370 and EDU-6371) are required to obtain a standard teacher certificate.
