The College of Idaho's Pre-Engineering Dual Degree Major
The College of Idaho’s Pre-Engineering Dual Degree Major is designed for students interested in becoming engineers and who also want a significant liberal arts component to their education. Students spend their first three or four years at The College of Idaho, completing their major and core-curriculum requirements while also taking courses to prepare for engineering studies. Qualified students may then pursue an engineering degree at one of the affiliated institutions: Washington University in St. Louis or Columbia University. Upon successful completion of coursework at both institutions, the student receives degrees from each institution. Because the requirements and expectations are different for each engineering program; students are encouraged to meet with Dr. James Dull or Dr. Kathryn Devine to discuss their goals.
Please see the Pre-Engineering Dual Degree major requirements page for more information pertaining to undergraduate coursework.
