Dual-Credit Advantage MBA / M.S. in Management / M.S. to DBA Early Admission
The MBA / M.S. in Management / M.S. to DBA early admission consideration option will provide an opportunity for existing College of Business Master’s students to consider an opportunity to enroll in the DBA program within 5 years of completing their degree. Applicants will be evaluated for admission as any other applicant to the program, but if accepted, they will have the option to utilize two prescribed courses from the MBA, M.S. in Management or M.S. core in place of the two DBA electives, should their final grade in those courses qualify.
MBA, M.S. in Management and M.S. students will be able to replace DBA 7200 and DBA 7950 with the following courses from their program core:
MBA
M.S. in Management
M.S.
- MAC 6200 – Data Analytics for Accountants
- MAC 7400 – Fraud Prevention & Forensic Accounting
Eligibility Requirements
- Acceptance into the DBA program;
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00;
- Achieve a grade of B or higher in both courses;
*If a student is only able to transfer in the credits from one of the two courses from their program core, they will be able to choose which of the two DBA electives they would like to replace.
