OAKS 155 Social Justice and the Rise of the Environmental Movement

Examines the confluence of social justice and environmentalism in America in the 1960s and 1970s. Topics include the environmental movement's intersection with the counterculture and New Left; the American Indian Movement; and the farmworker movement; as well as ecofeminism, environmental justice, and systems ecology.
