NURS 514W L/M Practicum
This practicum focuses on the clinical application and synthesis of the leadership and management concepts presented in earlier coursework. Practicum placements will be individually tailored to meet the professional needs of the students. The purpose of the practicum is to provide a structured field experience for the student, pairing them with a nurse manager/executive. The student will have an opportunity to apply theories, concepts and techniques learned in the didactic portion of the program in a selected health care setting, under the mentorship of an experienced nurse leader.
