CHW104 Introduction to Health Informatics

This course is designed to introduce the student to Health informatics as a precursor for understanding Public Health Informatics. Topics will include the history of health informatics and processes for sharing in electronic health records, personal health records and patient portals. Additionally students will be introduced to issues of privacy and ethics as related to sharing of information.
