NS4301 African Political Economy

This course examines economic development issues in Sub-Saharan Africa from a very broad perspective. We will consider how political and social as well as economic structures impact economic growth and development, assess policy and performance in the postcolonial period, and discuss the challenges for the twenty-first century. PREREQUISITE: None.
