Counselor Education and Supervision (PhD)

The PhD in CES program will train highly competent professionals who will be prepared to assume positions in higher education, supervisory roles of master level clinicians, clinicians, and researchers. The PhD in CES degree program will continue to support the mission of the College of Health and Education and Marymount University through the education and training of future counselor educators and supervisors who will serve the field of counseling through training, education, and supervision of future clinicians who will serve communities and individuals seeking counseling services. This mission is also consistent with the primary objective for CACREP-accredited doctoral programs.
