The Student Academic Hub
The Student Academic Hub offers a comprehensive academic support system for students that includes:
- Academic Advising — partnering with students to develop an intentional academic plan;
- Academic Coaching — exploring with students effective ways to study, learn, and develop good habits;
- Peer-led Tutoring — supporting students as they navigate course content and academic writing;
- Global Education Office (GEO) — offering students a variety of study, intern and experiential derived academic abroad programming to cultivate the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to be culturally sensitive citizens.
- International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) — supporting international students in maintaining immigration regulations, adjusting culturally, and experiencing cultural exchange events.
- Peer-led Tutoring — supporting students as they navigate course content and academic writing; and
- Student Access Services (SAS) — partnering with students with self-disclosed impairments in the: 1) determination of having a disability for scholastic purposes; 2) identification of reasonable accommodations to mitigate the impact of an SAS-determined disability; 3) coordination and/or advisement to facilitate the implementation of those accommodations with Marymount stakeholders, and 4) provision of associated learning support.
