PH 303 Animals, the Environment, and Ethics

An exploration of our moral responsibilities concerning animals and the natural environment. The course covers philosophical theories of ethics and their application to topics in environmental ethics. Topics may include animal rights, anthropocentrism, conservation, deep ecology, and the value of nature. Prerequisites: EN 102 and PH 100. Liberal Arts Core/University Requirements Designation: PH-E.
