Business Administration/Leadership and Management Dual Degree (M.B.A./M.S.)

The M.B.A. and M.S. in leadership and management dual-degree program is designed to meet the needs of those students desiring a strong business background in identifying emerging business problems and their principled, successful solutions with an emphasis on leadership and effective management of organizations.

Upon successful completion of all dual-degree requirements, students will receive both an M.B.A. and a M.S. in leadership and management. Students successfully completing both degrees will achieve the learning outcomes of each of the two programs. See the M.B.A. program for student outcomes. Admission Requirements: In addition to universitywide requirements for graduate admission and School of Business requirements, students applying to the Business Administration/Leadership and Management dual-degree program must also meet the admission requirements of each of the two programs.

Minimum Grade Requirements: For students in the dual-degree programs, the minimum grade requirement for each degree remains in effect. For students in the M.B.A./M.S. in leadership and management dual-degree program, all course requirements drawn from the M.S. in leadership and management must be completed with a minimum grade of B, and all course requirements drawn from the M.B.A. must be completed with a minimum grade of C. All graduate students in the School of Business Administration must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

A student whose cumulative GPA falls below 3.0 during enrollment in this dual-degree program will be placed on academic probation. The student must bring his or her cumulative GPA to 3.0 or higher within nine graduate credits or be dismissed. A student whose cumulative GPA falls below 3.0 a second time will be dismissed.
