Kean University Foundation Scholarships
Each academic year the Kean University Foundation provides scholarship support to hundreds of students through annual and endowed scholarship funds, which are established by friends, alumni and members of the Kean University community. The number of scholarships and award amounts vary each year based upon fund availability.
Foundation Scholarships are awarded through the Office of Scholarship Services, which utilizes committees to select the applicant who best meets established criteria for an award. Scholarship award selections are based on a combination of factors including academic achievement, financial need, community services, references and logistics, as listed in the individual scholarship criteria.
All interested students must submit the online Kean University Foundation Scholarship Application for consideration of any Foundation award. This application is available on the Kean University website annually beginning October 1. The priority filing deadline for the Kean University Foundation Scholarship is March 1, 2024. However, scholarship applications will continue to be accepted throughout the academic year, as funding permits. Students selected for awards are notified by the Office of Scholarship Services in the months prior to the start of the fall term. Awards are applied directly to student accounts for the fall and spring semesters.
