PS 2500 RACE AND AMERICAN DEMOCRACY
This course examines the relationship between race and politics in America. Because the African American experience has an outsized impact on the development of American democracy, African American thought and activism will form the foundation of the course. Students will have the opportunity to explore other cultural traditions and interests in thinking about how race and democracy intersect today.
