FIN 3340 FINANCE FOR SUSTAINABILITY

This course equips students with the ability to examine the role of financial institutions, capital markets, and banking on sustainable financial decision-making. Topics include the relationship between environmental economics and sustainability, financial and environmental risk, financial products for sustainability, barriers to financial development for sustainability, and theory and practice of emissions trading, among others. Prior knowledge of the fundamentals of financial management is required. Prior coursework in research methods and/or business mathematics and statistics will be an advantage.
