CDD 5266 LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION IN AUTISM

Following the Neurodiversity paradigm, the assessment and treatment of language and communication impairments in autistic children and adolescents in the pre-linguistic, emerging, developing language stages, or language for learning stages. Students will describe and implement Neurodiversity-friendly assessment and learn the major evidence based and established treatment approaches.  Students will apply these approaches to Autism in the clinic.
