ACCT 5300 IMPACT MANAGEMENT AND ESG REPORTING

This course is an advanced course focused on sustainability accounting and its application to ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting. With a global perspective, students will explore the evolution of ESG reporting, comparing it to traditional financial reporting while gaining insights into the scientific foundations of sustainability and the intricacies of global regulatory requirements. Through rigorous analysis and practical exercises, students will learn to craft persuasive business cases for ESG reporting, evaluate multinational companies' ESG reports, and reflect on personal development in fostering an ESG self-awareness.
