Free Electives
In addition to completing General Education, additional required courses and major requirements, any remaining credits necessary to fulfill degree requirements are completed with free electives. Students are encouraged to use free elective credits to develop a second major, a minor or to acquire certification, and they should meet with their faculty advisor to explore their options. Students whose academic program allows for 15 or more credits of free electives are strongly encouraged to pursue a minor or second major to broaden the scope of their educational experience to increase their marketability with additional skill sets.
