Academic Probation and Dismissal
Matriculated students earning a cumulative grade point average of less than 2.0 are subject to academic probation. A cumulative average that would place a student on academic probation for the third time makes the student subject to dismissal from the University.
Notification of Academic Dismissal
Academic dismissal decisions are made after each academic year (after the conclusion of the spring semester). Students dismissed from the University are notified by Kean University email and regular mail from the appropriate college dean.
