MKT 3950 DATA MINING IN BUSINESS

Data mining involves developing and using techniques, such as prediction, classification and clustering to assist managers in making intelligent use of vast amounts of consumer data. In marketing these techniques are used for database marketing and customer relationship management. This course provides an overview of data mining concepts and techniques. Applications of data mining and class projects are a major component of the course.
